Principal- Gert v Tonder, De Waveren Primary The Western Province Care Centre is a non-denominational welfare organisation. Projects Food For Life caters for 60 children from De Waveren Primary School in Ruyterwacht on a daily basis with an estimated cost of R500,00 per child per month. (We receive no assistance from the state.) There are numerous projects that Mr Van Tonder has in mind including a workshop for the children. Xmas 2010 - We assist on an ad hoc basis at Brackenfell Primary School. We also help financially on monthly basis at The senior Centre,Ruyterwacht. Children eating on their laps- ou wish is to help build a enclosed courtyard where they children can eat at a table. Our new Charity shop opened recently- we sell 2nd hand clothes,baby goods.toys,bedding, ornaments and choclates & biscuits.  Come and have a look for yourself- stock up for Xmas on our delicous bakes! We also accept any donations in the form of 2nd hand clothes and odds & ends- must be in good condition please!  ( we are not clearing your old rubbish from garage) We are more actively involved with Aristea Primary school in Kraaifontein 2012. The number has grown from 15 to 50 whose home life is undesirable and the family’s battle to keep head above water. We financially help with the spreads for bread e.g. Peanut butter, tuna,cheese etc. etc. on a daily basis. WE are also thinking of helping 1 or 2 schools in Southern suburbs, which we will finalize soon.
